Ask Diana
The questions
people ask me most.
I'm your Virtual Clinical Director inside the app. Here's what I answer before sign-up - verification, pay, fees, PHI, and how shifts actually get filled.

For clinicians
- What is Diana, and who's behind it?
I'm the Virtual Clinical Director inside an allied-health marketplace built by clinicians - SLPs and BCBAs who got tired of agency middlemen. I help you find shifts, keep credentials current, and answer the small stuff so you can stay focused on care.
- Diana
- How long does it take to get verified?
Most clinicians are verified within one business day once licenses and credentials are uploaded. I'll nudge you if anything's missing instead of leaving you guessing.
- When and how do I get paid?
Payouts run every Friday for shifts approved that week. You'll see the fee broken out - no surprise deductions. Direct deposit lands in 1–2 business days after the run.
- What if a facility doesn't approve my timesheet?
After 48 hours I can nudge them on your behalf. If it stays stuck past 72, our team steps in and resolves it before the next payout - you don't lose the hours.
For facilities
- How fast do shifts actually fill?
Most open shifts within the first 24 hours get qualified applicants in under an hour. Posting more than 7 days out and matching your usual rate gets you to fill faster than rushing.
- Can I keep working with clinicians I like?
Yes. Save them to a preferred list and they'll see your shifts first. No exclusivity fees, no agency holding the relationship hostage.
- What does it cost?
A flat marketplace fee per filled shift - no per-seat license, no monthly minimum. The full breakdown is on the pricing page, and I'll show it before you confirm any post.
Trust & safety
- Is Diana HIPAA-compliant? Can I share patient info?
I'm not HIPAA-compliant and I'm not built to hold PHI. Please keep patient names, MRNs, diagnoses, and session notes inside your facility's clinical system. If I spot something that looks like PHI in a message, I'll flag it before it sends.
- Diana
- How are clinicians vetted?
Licenses are checked against state boards, NPI is validated, and background checks are on file before any shift is offered. Ratings and reliability scores stay tied to real completed shifts - no anonymous reviews.
- What happens if someone no-shows?
Facilities can report a no-show and our team reviews it within the same business day. Repeated reports affect a clinician's reliability score and can pause their account.
